The native droid battery status does not provide much information as to the status of the charge. We downloaded Battery Indicator version 3.0.3 from Darshan computing. You can find the app on the Droid Market on your device or go to http://code.google. om/p/battery-indicator/
Once the app is installed, it shows you the battery status in 10 percent increments and indicates clearly if you are charging the battery or not as well as the health of the battery.
Detailed information is available as to how much battery use each application is using on your device.
