ARIN: WHOIS Database Search This will allow you to find the owner of an an IP address.
Broadband Reports - If you are looking for high speed access, this is a great place to start.
DNS Report - A companion to DNS Stuff below. Check out your domain name servers.
DNS Stuff - Lot's of great information about your domain name servers, if you are on a blacklist, whois information and more.
download.com - This is from cnet. You can get just about any type of shareware, freeware or trialware software. As of April 05 they have reiterated a strong no adware or spyware policy for applications listed on their site.
Internet Traffic Report - This is a near realtime report on the status of the worldwide internet.
Mail2web Pop3 mail reader. If you have pop3 mail, this site will allow you to read your mail from any web browser. You should click on the ‘secure connection’ link before signing in.
NetMechanic - They have a free trial of their site which will allow you to monitor your website for about 8 hours. At the end of that period, you will get an email which will link you to a report. The report shows downtime and response time. You can also purchase a subscription to their service.
Network Solutions whois - This is a starting point for a whois search (finding out who owns a domain name)
Google-Dance Tool - Great resource for the google dance. There are also some excellent SEO chat areas.
Google Toolbar - This is a must for web developers, advertisers and anyone else working on the Internet. Read the privacy information before installing
Visual Route Server - This will show the physical location of any web server anywhere in the world.
Wayback Machine - Do you want to see a website as it was previously? This neat little tool will show archives of a website at periodic intervals.
WebmasterWorld - Discussions concerning every aspect of running a website
www.whois.sc You can search whois information with this tool. The easiest way is to simply type in www.whois.sc/domainname.com in your browser's address bar.
