Here are some tips for more advanced Frontpage users.

Closing the gap. We had a couple of cases where we wanted the background to be one color. However the left shared border and the table we were using was a different color. There is a known issue where you will have a small gap (about 6 pixels) between the left shared border and the table. You can close the gap as long as your page length remains constant by using a layer. Go to Insert Layer and size a layer to fill the gap. Then change the properties of the layer to match the colors you are using.

Use tables to help format your pages. Tables are still one of the easiest ways to format your pages Some things to keep in mind with tables are:

Set the table widths as percentages not as pixels. This will usually work better with different screen resolutions.
Use can use a table for layout but set the border width to zero to make the table invisible on your site.
Use cell padding to create a little space around your text and images.
