The 2600 and color LaserJet printer is networkable.

We were looking for a color printer for under 500 dollars. The  LaserJet as purchased was 360 dollars after rebate. It's capable of eight pages per minute in black and white or color. The print resolution is 600 by 600 dots per inch it has 16MB of memory and a 250 sheet multipurpose tray. The monthly duty cycle is up to 35,000 pages. Networking is standard although it still comes with one USB port. Most of the common windows operating systems are supported

Setup and installation were fairly easy .  You need to install the four color cartridges and the black and white cartridge .  One thing that we weren't too happy about was that part of the machine, a delicate looking film, is very exposed when you open the machine . 

HP provides several videos in that nation's to guide you through the various tasks in servicing your printer . 

The printer comes with a full set of cartridges and is good for about 1000 black and white copies and 2000 color pages.  Of course your actual yield will vary depending on which you are printing

One of the drawbacks of this machine is that it does not support heavier paper .  This could be a problem if you were intending to use it to print postcards or note cards .

The 2600 brings affordable color printing to the home and small business market .
